Associate secrets in 1Password with a MacOS app🔗

This cookbook describes how to associate a secret in 1Password to a MacOS app, in order to retrieve it fast when calling 1password Mini on that app.

For example, you can set 1Password to display your SSH passphrase when you call it from your terminal

Similar to the web browser extension of 1Password, 1Password Mini calls a popup window with secrets selected for the MacOS app used.

App BundleID🔗

To link a secret to an app, retrieve its bundleID by using

lsappinfo | grep bundleID
Copy the bundleID in the website field of the secret in 1Password
